More than Physical Pain

We Understand What This is Really About

In more than a decade of clinical practice, we've learned that the pain is only part of the story. What weighs on women most are the fears they rarely say out loud. Pleasure Path was built for all of it.

🏠

The fear of being touched before you're ready

No one touches you. Ever.

For many women, especially those carrying past trauma, the hardest part of seeking help is the exam itself. Pleasure Path is fully self-paced and online, with no hands-on appointments. You do this yourself, privately, at home, in a space where you feel safe. For many, it's the first approach that ever felt possible.

The fear of losing your partner

You are not failing anyone.

When intimacy becomes painful or impossible, many women feel their relationship quietly slipping away, and blame themselves for it. This is a treatable condition, and reconnecting with your partner is one of the most common outcomes women experience on the other side of it.

These conditions affect intercourse, not fertility.

Many women with vaginismus believe motherhood is impossible for them. While no clinical approach can guarantee pregnancy, this work is highly effective, and many former patients who once believed a family was out of reach are mothers today.

You are not broken. This is treatable. And you can begin in a way that feels safe to you.

Before We Talk About Healing

Why Does Intercourse Hurt? You Deserve a Real Answer.

Pain during sex or insertion is most often caused by treatable conditions, including vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, and an overactive pelvic floor. Whether your pain is burning, sharp, or a feeling of tightness that makes penetration difficult or impossible, it is a physical condition with a physical solution. It is not in your head, and it is not something you should endure.

Does This Sound Familiar?

"Penetration feels impossible, like my body just closes, like hitting a wall. I've been told to relax. Nothing changes."

"I have constant vulvar pain and stinging, even outside of sex. No one can tell me why."

"We want to start a family, but intercourse is impossible. I'm terrified I'll never be a mom."

"Sex is possible for me, but it burns or hurts every time. I've started to dread it."

"I can't use a tampon or get through a gynecological exam. I feel completely alone."

"My partner is patient, but I can feel this quietly wearing on both of us."

Whether you recognize yourself in one of these or all of them, this course is designed for you.

The Cost of Waiting

What Happens if Painful Sex Goes Untreated?

Conditions like vaginismus, vulvodynia, and dyspareunia rarely resolve on their own. Without treatment, most women face one of these dead ends:

❌ In-clinic pelvic physiotherapy costs $150 to $300 per session, and meaningful treatment usually takes months of appointments

❌ Generic Kegel apps and YouTube exercises are made by fitness creators and can make an overactive pelvic floor worse

❌ Family doctors often have no specialist training in sexual and pelvic pain, which is why so many women are dismissed or misdiagnosed for years

❌ Waiting means the pain keeps shaping your confidence, your body image, and your relationship

Whether your pain has a name or not, the program begins by helping you understand exactly what is happening in your body, then guides you through the structured process step by step. A real clinician stays with you from your first week to your last.

Your Step-By-Step Path

What's Inside the Pleasure Path Course?

The course takes you through a structured journey in 7 modules, in the same therapeutic sequence Nasim uses with her patients. Each module builds on the one before it, from understanding your pain to full intimacy.

Welcome & Getting

Started

Begin with a clear introduction to the program, how it works, and how to move through each stage safely, confidently, and at your own pace.

Module 01

Understanding the Pain

Explore the factors that can contribute to painful sex and discover the Healing Triangle: a guiding framework for understanding your symptoms and the path forward.

Module 02

Your Anatomy

Understand the parts of your body involved in pain and intimacy, and discover how the pelvic floor, diaphragm, vulva, and vagina work together; so what you have been feeling can finally begin to make more sense.

Module 03

The Nervous System

Learn about neuroplasticity, discover how your brain and body can become caught in a cycle that keeps pain going, and uncover the missing piece that can begin to shift it.

Module 04

Taking Control Back

This is where understanding becomes action. Through gentle, intentional practices, begin to reconnect with your body, recognize its signals, and build a new sense of control from within.

Module 05

Dilators and Wands

Discover a different way to work with dilators and pelvic wands: from choosing the right tool to guided external and internal release, gradual progression, and deeper muscle techniques, all built around safety, choice, and confidence.

Module 06

From Dilators to Intimacy

Move beyond the exercises and toward intimacy that feels safe, connected, and truly yours: gradually involving a partner, rediscovering pleasure beyond penetration, and approaching intercourse without giving up the control you have built.

Module 07

Your Next Chapter

Discover what healing and meaningful progress truly look like, how to respond when setbacks happen, and how to create a realistic long-term plan that supports the changes you have made.

Your Journey

How Long Does it Take to Treat Painful Sex?

Every woman begins from a different place, and the journey is shaped by many factors, including the nature of her symptoms, nervous system responses, life circumstances, and consistency with the program.

While there is no universal timeline, we recommend allowing three to six months for meaningful change. Three months is the minimum period for working through the program consistently, while six months is often a more realistic timeframe for progress to develop and become integrated into daily life. Some women may notice changes sooner, while others may need longer. Inside the Renova Program, progress usually looks like this:

Weeks 1–3

UNDERSTANDING

You finally learn what is happening in your body and why, whatever your specific condition. The shame starts to lift. For many women, this is the first time anyone has actually explained it.

Months 1–3

PROGRESS

You work through the program step by step, with weekly access to Nasim and support between sessions. Pain begins to reduce. For consistent women, meaningful change often begins here.

Months 3–6

LASTING HEALING

Intimacy without fear. Insertion without panic. Confidence in your own body and the freedom to be fully present with yourself and your partner.

Your timeline depends on your consistency, not your diagnosis or how long you've had this. Three months from now, you could already be somewhere new.

Who Created the Renova Program?

Nasim Delfaninejad MScPT— Licensed Physiotherapist, Certified in Intrapelvic Health and creator of the Renova Program

The Renova program was created by Nasim Delfaninejad, a licensed pelvic health physiotherapist, certified in intrapelvic health, registered in British Columbia, Canada. She is the founder of OVA Women's Health Physiotherapy in BC, Canada, and has built more than a decade of clinical experience treating vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, and complex pelvic pain, with training and practice spanning three continents.

Nasim's path to pelvic health was personal. Her own journey searching for solutions to chronic pelvic pain is what drew her to specialize in this field, and it shapes how she treats every woman she works with. She knows what it means to be on both sides of this condition: the frustration of being dismissed and the relief of finally understanding your own body.

Her approach addresses the root cause of symptoms rather than masking them, using a holistic, whole-body method built on education first. Nasim believes healing begins when you understand the reasons behind your symptoms, and her goal for every woman is the same: reconnect with your body, overcome your symptoms, and feel stronger and more in control.

🌍 Clinical training and practice across three continents

“Pelvic health has been overlooked for far too long. Too often, women are told to wait it out, relax, or get used to it. I created Pleasure Path because I’ve seen how pain during intimacy quietly shapes how women see themselves. No one should have to live that way.”
— Nasim Delfaninejad, MScPT, BSc, Founder, The Intimate Physio

Real Women. Real Results.

The Clinical Method Behind the Renova Program Has Already Changed Lives

The Renova Program is built on the same treatment approach Nasim has refined through more than a decade of daily clinical practice with women across the full spectrum of pelvic and sexual pain. These are the words of real women who went through it.

"I had been living with painful sex for years. I had seen two different doctors and felt completely dismissed both times. Working with Nasim was the first time I genuinely felt heard and understood. The progress I made in six months was more than I'd made in years of struggling alone."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- Patient, name withheld for privacy

"I genuinely did not believe anything could help me. I had been told so many times just to relax. Nasim's approach was completely different. She explained the physiology, gave me a real program, and was there every step of the way. For the first time in years, I feel like myself again."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Some of the best news we receive: "We're having a baby."

Many women with vaginismus quietly carry a devastating fear: that they will never be able to become a mother. Here is the truth. These conditions affect intercourse, not fertility. Over the years, some of the most treasured messages Nasim has received are from former patients who once believed a family was impossible for them, sharing baby photos and birth announcements. Today, they are moms.

FAQs

1- Can I still have a baby if I have vaginismus or painful sex?

Yes. Vaginismus, vulvodynia, and dyspareunia affect intercourse, not fertility itself. Many women fear these conditions mean they can never become a mother, and that fear is not the reality. Once the condition is treated, the path to pregnancy opens as it does for anyone else. Many of Nasim's former patients who once believed a family was impossible for them are moms today.

2- Can painful sex be treated at home?

Yes. Painful sex caused by vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, or an overactive pelvic floor can be effectively treated at home through a structured pelvic health program when the program is designed by a qualified pelvic health physiotherapist. Pleasure Path teaches the same evidence-based methods used in clinical practice, adapted for guided self-treatment with ongoing clinician support.

3- Which conditions does Pleasure Path address?

Pleasure Path is designed to help women with vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, pelvic floor dysfunction, and any pain with insertion or intercourse, including difficulty with tampons or gynecological exams. You do not need to know which condition you have to benefit, because understanding your specific situation is part of the program.

4- Do I need a diagnosis before I can join?

No diagnosis is required. Many women join without knowing the name of their condition. The program begins by helping you understand what is happening in your body, then guides your rehabilitation from there.

5- Is Renova Program right for me if I've had this for years?

Yes. Many of the women Nasim has worked with had been living with pelvic or sexual pain for years, sometimes more than a decade, before finding specialist support. Duration does not determine outcome. What matters is working with the right approach.

6- Do I need dilators or a pelvic wand before starting?

No. The course includes a full module on choosing the right tools before you begin any hands-on work, so you'll know exactly what to get and why before spending anything. Early modules require no equipment at all.

7- How is this different from YouTube videos or a kegel app?

Pleasure Path is a clinician-led, structured program built on the same evidence-based methods Nasim uses in clinical practice, delivered in a specific therapeutic sequence across 7 modules and 30 lessons. Generic Kegel exercises are not designed for an overactive pelvic floor and can worsen symptoms in conditions like vaginismus and vulvodynia. This is specialist education and guidance, not fitness content.

8- When do I get access after joining?

Immediately. From day one, you get the Welcome module plus Modules 1 and 2, which cover understanding your pain and your anatomy. More than most women work through in their first weeks. You also get your free e-book and the full recorded Q&A library, including this week's live session with Nasim. The remaining modules open as you move through the program. Pleasure Path is a structured program, not a video library to binge. The pacing is part of how it works, and moving ahead of your body is one of the most common reasons self-guided attempts fail.

9 - Do I have to interact with other members?

No. The community is there if and when you want it, and participation is entirely your choice. Many members work through the course privately and only attend the Q&A sessions. You set the pace of your own involvement.

10- Is my information private?

Yes, completely. Your membership and everything you share inside the community are private and never visible to the public. Privacy in an intimate health context is taken with the utmost seriousness.

11- How much does Renova cost, and how does billing work?

Renova is $99/month or $799/year. Choose the yearly plan and get almost 4 months free. Every membership starts with a 7-day free trial: you won't be charged until day 7. We recommend allowing three to six months for meaningful change, so the yearly plan gives you the full time the program needs.

12- Is this a replacement for seeing a physiotherapist in person?

Pleasure Path teaches the same clinical material and evidence-based methods that Nasim uses with patients in the clinic. For many women, the program provides everything they need. Some may benefit from in-person care alongside it.
